Winter Model Home Program: Builder Price for 12 More Utah Homes
How our pricing works: builder price is what we charge business clients such as window and door companies, designers and contractors. Homeowners normally pay our standard price, which starts at the low end of Utah retail. This winter, 12 more homeowners can get builder price with no markup on materials, 40–60% below typical retail.
What you get
- Builder price on materials with no markup: order through us, or buy it yourself online at the price we show you
- Free consultation, measuring and a written quote showing builder price next to retail
- Lifetime Warranty* on windows and doors, and our workmanship warranty in writing
- Financing available, and service in English, Spanish, Chinese or Portuguese
What you give in return
- Before-and-after photos: we photograph your project and may show it as a model home on our website, social media and to future clients (never your name or address without permission)
- Yard sign: a small BPR sign in your yard while we work and for up to 30 days after completion
- Model home visits: up to two short visits by future clients at times you approve, or a video walkthrough instead if you prefer
Reviews are not part of the deal. We ask every customer for honest feedback, in or out of the program, and leaving a review is always your choice.
Ideal for homes built before 2010, where original builder-grade windows, doors, oak cabinets, laminate counters, tired bathrooms and unfinished basements are due for an upgrade. Our small team and 16 years of experience keep quality high and prices honest. Only 12 of 30 spots left, and contracts must be signed by December 31, 2026.
Winter Model Home Program: limited to 30 homes; the contract must be signed by December 31, 2026. Builder price means no markup on materials. Savings of 40–60% compare builder price with typical mid- to high-range Utah retail and vary by product. Participants agree to before-and-after photos and showcase use of the project, a BPR yard sign during the work and for up to 30 days after completion, and up to two scheduled visits by prospective clients (or a video walkthrough instead). Reviews are not required, and your price never depends on whether or what you review. Some tax, consultation, design fee and admin fee are not included. Installation is quoted separately. *Lifetime warranty is the manufacturer's lifetime limited warranty on window and door frames, glass seals and hardware, per the manufacturer's written terms, and is registered for you at installation.
Doors That Improve Security, Efficiency and Curb Appeal
Your front door is the first thing buyers, guests and neighbors notice, and a poorly sealed door is one of the biggest sources of drafts in a Utah home. BPR Remodeling replaces and installs exterior and interior doors throughout the Salt Lake Valley, from a single new entry door to a full set of interior doors and hardware for a remodel.
Every exterior door we install is set plumb, insulated, flashed and weather-stripped for Utah's freeze-thaw winters, and we adjust thresholds and strike plates so the door closes tight from day one.
Door Types We Install
- Fiberglass and steel entry doors with decorative glass, sidelights and transoms
- Sliding glass patio doors in vinyl, fiberglass and aluminum
- French and hinged patio doors
- Multi-slide and bi-fold doors for indoor-outdoor living
- Interior doors: shaker, panel, barn doors, pocket doors and solid-core for sound control
- Storm and security doors
- Door hardware: handlesets, deadbolts and smart locks
Brands and Custom Options
We install JELD-WEN, Therma-Tru, Masonite, Milgard, Andersen and Marvin doors and can order custom sizes, stains, paint colors and glass. We buy at builder pricing, the same door a Utah builder puts in a model home, and Model Home Program homeowners get it with no markup: ask us to order it, or buy it yourself online at the price we show you.
Sliding & Patio Doors
A patio door is the biggest piece of glass in most Utah homes, which makes it the biggest source of heat loss and the biggest upgrade in daily comfort. We replace and install every style, sized to your opening, with tempered Low-E glass, argon fill and multi-point locking as standard on the lines we recommend.
- Sliding glass patio doors. Two-, three- and four-panel configurations in vinyl, fiberglass or aluminum, with smooth stainless rollers, built-in blinds available and screens included.
- Multi-slide and stacking doors. Open an entire wall to your deck or patio. Panels glide and stack to one side for true indoor-outdoor living.
- French and hinged patio doors. Classic swing-out or swing-in doors with grids, decorative glass and matching sidelights.
- Bi-fold doors. Panels fold and tuck away for wide openings up to 24 feet.
- Pet doors, blinds-between-glass and smart locks can be built in at order time.
Entry Doors
Your front door sets the tone for the whole house and takes more weather than any other door. We install fiberglass doors with real wood-grain texture that will not dent, warp or rot, steel doors for security on a budget, and solid wood for a custom look. Choose your glass, sidelights, transom, stain or paint color and hardware, and we hang it plumb, insulated and weather-tight.
- Fiberglass entry doors with the look of oak, mahogany or fir and up to four times the insulation value of wood
- Steel entry doors with reinforced lock blocks and a foam core
- Decorative, privacy and impact glass options, plus sidelights and transoms
- Multi-point locks, smart locks and handlesets in matching finishes
- Storm and security doors for added protection and ventilation

What You Pay: Builder Price vs. Standard vs. Retail
Three prices, one product. BPR buys windows, doors, cabinets, decking and fixtures at the builder pricing used to furnish Utah model homes. Business clients and Model Home Program homeowners pay that builder price with no markup on materials: ask us to order it, or take our product list and buy it yourself online at the price we show you. Other homeowners pay our standard price, which starts at the low end of typical Utah retail, still below what most stores charge. Every project starts with a free estimate.

Frequently Asked Questions
How much does it cost to replace a front door in Salt Lake City?
A standard fiberglass or steel entry door installed typically runs $800 to $1,500 in the Salt Lake area. Doors with sidelights, custom glass or oversized openings run $1,500 to $4,000 and up. Model Home Program homeowners pay builder price, typically 40 to 60 percent below retail on the door itself.
Fiberglass or steel entry door: which is better for Utah?
Fiberglass resists dents and does not conduct cold the way steel does, so it is the better choice for most Utah homes with a south or west exposure. Steel is the lower-cost option and works well behind a covered porch.
Can you replace a sliding door with French doors?
Yes. A standard 6-foot slider opening converts to a French door with minimal framing work. We handle the header check, flashing and finish work.
Can I buy the door myself and have you install it?
Yes. We give you the product list and price. Model Home Program homeowners can buy it online themselves or have us order it at builder price with no markup, and we quote installation separately.
