Built for Homes Built Before 2010
Many Salt Lake Valley homes built in the 1980s, 1990s and 2000s still have their original builder-grade materials, and those are now at the end of their life. If you want a budget-friendly builder who still does quality work, the Model Home Program was made for you. Homes of any age can apply.
- Windows with foggy or failed seals, drafts and high heating bills
- Doors that stick, leak air or show their age at the curb
- Kitchens with oak cabinets, laminate counters and tired appliances
- Bathrooms with cultured-marble tops, tub surrounds and old fixtures
- Basements left unfinished, or finished decades ago without egress windows
- Decks with soft boards, loose railings or worn stain
How to Join
- Apply: send the quote form and choose "Winter Model Home Program", or call us.
- Free consultation: we visit, measure and listen to what you want.

- Sign by December 31, 2026: your spot is confirmed when the contract is signed. Spots go in signing order.
- Build and photos: we take before-and-after photos and complete the project.
- Showcase: keep a BPR yard sign up for 30 days and allow up to two scheduled visits (or a video walkthrough) by future clients.
What You Pay: Builder Price vs. Standard vs. Retail
Three prices, one product. BPR buys windows, doors, cabinets, decking and fixtures at the builder pricing used to furnish Utah model homes. Business clients and Model Home Program homeowners pay that builder price with no markup on materials: ask us to order it, or take our product list and buy it yourself online at the price we show you. Other homeowners pay our standard price, which starts at the low end of typical Utah retail, still below what most stores charge. Every project starts with a free estimate.

Frequently Asked Questions
Who can join the Model Home Program?
Homeowners in Salt Lake City and along the Wasatch Front with a remodeling project in our service list. The program is limited to 30 homes and 12 spots are left. Your contract must be signed by December 31, 2026.
Is it really builder price?
Yes. You pay the same builder price on materials that our business clients pay, with no markup. Your written quote shows builder price next to typical retail for each item. Installation is quoted separately, and some tax, consultation, design and admin fees are not included.
What do I have to do in return?
Allow before-and-after photos and showcase use of your project, keep a BPR yard sign up during the work and for up to 30 days after, and allow up to two scheduled visits by future clients (or a video walkthrough instead).
Do I have to leave a review?
No. Reviews are not part of the program and never affect your price. Like every BPR customer, you may get a request for honest feedback when the job is done; whether you leave a review, and what you write, is entirely up to you.
Does my home have to be built before 2010?
No. Homes of any age can apply. We designed the program with older homes in mind because their original windows, doors, kitchens and bathrooms are usually ready for an upgrade.
What happens when the 30 spots are gone?
New projects use our standard pricing, which starts at the low end of typical Utah retail. Business clients keep builder pricing.
Can I combine the program with financing?
Yes. Model Home homeowners can finance the balance through Snap Finance or our milestone plan.
Enjoy It Now, Pay Over Time
Flexible financing through Snap Finance for qualified homeowners: a decision in minutes, no perfect credit required, approvals up to $5,000 and a 100-day early purchase option. Or use our milestone plan, 10% to 50% down with the balance at project milestones and no interest from BPR. No project is too small.
Financing is offered through Snap Finance and is subject to Snap Finance approval, terms and conditions. Approval amounts, terms and the early purchase option vary by applicant. BPR's milestone payment plan carries no interest or fees from BPR. Ask us about additional lender options for larger projects.
